This year Volundr will once again provide an IoT workshop featuring the ESP8266. The workshop offers an in-depth tutorial for programming the ESP8266.

The ESP is a versatile microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. It is often used for powering all kind of hobby projects like home automation, controlling LEDs or other projects that need wireless communication. It can be programmed in several ways, including the Arduino IDE which we will use. 

The workshop is free to join. If you are not already the proud owner of an ESP, you can buy one in the board room for the very friendly price of €2.00. If you participated in  the Introcase during the introduction week, you already have one.
