Thor, Simon Stevin and Lucid are organizing a new edition of Robattle!!! Robattle is an event that is all about having fun with robots. Within teams, robots will be built with the provided materials, to thereafter battle against each other for the title of the best robot. This year we added a twist to the event, popping balloons. By attaching balloons to your robots, all your dreams will come true as the event will become Mario Kart in real-life. Pop till you drop!
The Robattle will be held during the weekend of the 11th and 12th of June. Saturday morning we will start at Innovation Space with the kick-off. Here, your team will get materials, and you can start building your robot until the evening. On Sunday, it’s battle day. While you can still fix some things throughout the day, your robot will also be needed to compete in a couple of mini-games before the grand final battle at the end of the afternoon. On Saturday, lunch and dinner will be provided and on Sunday lunch will be provided. To finish off on Sunday we will have a drink (on your own costs) to celebrate our amazing weekend!
You can sign up individually or find a team of up to 5 people(Teams will be made at the start of the event). Everyone can join, so you don't have to be a member of the study associations. The price will be €10 a person.
