Internship and Graduation project market

 
Whether you are looking for an internship or graduation project in the communication domain of Electrical Engineering, or just wondering what possibilities you have within this domain, this market is something for you!

On this market, both companies and TU/e research groups EM, IC, SPS, ECO and PHI will present you with multiple projects in this field. They provide information about possible topics and what to look for in your search. This will also help you broaden your network within the department to make it easier to find the best suitable projects. Additionally, we will provide you with information on the basic things to keep in mind when going on an internship (abroad)!

Therefore, make sure to come to this internship and graduation project market located in Flux. Besides that, if you subscribe via the ODIN site before the 6th of February, we will even be able to provide you with some delicious free lunch!

TenneT Excursion: BritNed HVDC

In the excursion to the TenneT BritNed HVDC interconnector, we will see firsthand how electricity flows between the Netherlands and the UK. This impressive site is all about connecting grids, boosting reliability, and making sure energy gets where it’s needed most.

On this visit, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the technology that makes high-voltage direct current possible, and you’ll learn why it’s such a big deal for the energy transition. It’s a chance to see how international cooperation and smart engineering come together in one of Europe’s most advanced interconnectors.

We will meet in front of Flux on February 24th at 7:45 to board the bus that will take us to the site. The bus trip will take roughly 2 hours. Lunch will be provided by the company, and the expected return time to Flux is 17:00 (may change).  The bus will leave at 8:00 so make sure to be on time!

Availability for the trip is not yet decided and may be limited. If that is the case, Master students will get subscription priority, followed by Bachelor students and then faculty members.
