Lunch Lecture: route to a PhD

In this non-regular lunch lecture, Tom van Nunen will tell his story about what it is to be a PhD-student and give you an impression of what it’s like to be a PhD candidate in general.

In his own words:
In my PhD, we’re working on making blind people see again, together with a team with people from other universities and companies, combining many disciplines. To achieve this goal, we’re designing a brain implant that translates images from a camera to electrical signals that can be interpreted by the brain. Additionally, I will give you insight in the PhD-life, and answer all questions you might have. Interested? You’re invited to my lunch lecture at the 22th of September.
