On the 7th of October, the Constitution Drink of the 70th Board will happen! To make sure that no one steals anything or takes a Board member we need security (orde). That's where you come in. If you love the Board and want to protect them with your life, or just want to push some people around, subscribe below and help us have an amazing Consti!

October is around the corner, which means that OkThorberfest is soon (in November of course)! This is the subscription list to purchase a custom pulletje for OkThorberfest 2026, the pulletjes will be around €10 with this year's OkThorberfest Logo.

Signing up only shows interest, it doesn’t mean you have to purchase.

 Looking for volunteers for helping us build up the TesLAN! 

This August, there will once more be an intro week! 

As always, the Introduction Week is for all the new students who are going to study at the TU/e next year. In order to give those new students (kiddos) the week of their lives, we are looking for volunteers who will guide the activities on campus as smoothly as possible and to secure the safety of the participants and all the others who are around. 

The intro will take place from the August 17th till the 21st. 

 

You can become a volunteer by filling in the form on this page. Don’t forget to denote when you are available. NOTE: This form is only for becoming a volunteer, to become an intro parent go to this link. 

 Do you want to be an intro parent but can't find a co-parent? Then you can sign up to this list and find other people who need a co-parent! Then together you can sign up on the central form.

Submissions will only be visible to the Thor Board and Intro Committee. We will contact the solo parents. 

 Please note that this is an interest list. Subscribing to this form does not bring any obligations. You will only be reminded when the real subscription starts :)

What is your job as a parent?
When you become an intro-parent, you’ll be assigned to a group of students who are going to study either Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology or the master AI&ES next year. This group has a size of +/- 8 new students plus you and your partner. It will be your job, together with your partner, to guide these new students through the introduction program. This involves for example:

Have you always wondered what it is like to stand on the other side of the bar? Now is your chance! You can join the Tappers behind the bar for a day. You will get a short introduction to the basics of Het Walhalla and experience Het Walhalla from another perspective. 

Please point out the days that fit your agenda so that we can make a schedule. The days start at 15:45. If you might consider joining Het Tappersgilde, please mark the checkbox. You can select which days you are available below and then you will find a good day for you to stand behind the bar. 

 Would you like to get some sustenance before day 2 of the GMM, this is your oppurtunity. We will be ordering from world famour FOODSPOT Hizmet. We will be ordering at 16:00. 

 Does skiing, snowboarding and après-ski sound fun to you? SnowCo thinks so too! SnowCo is considering organizing a wintersport trip around the end of January or the start of Febuary 2027. This interest list has been made to gauge:

-how many people are interested in joining the trip,
-if there are potentially backup drivers available,
-how many people are interested in renting ski-equipment.

We are Fenrir, the new design committee of Thor and we come to you with some new and exciting merch. Our committee has worked the last quartile on some nice merch that we want to present to the association. 

Do you want to have a nice meal of vegetarian risotto before the 289th GMM, make sure to sign up!

 On the second day of the GMM we will get food from Happie 040, this is a restaurant on campus!
They will make a pasta with salmon, spinach and boursin sauce.
Make sure to  order before 15:00 on de 23rd of March, because they need to know our order one day in advance! 

They also serve a veggie option with vegetarian 'chicken' pieces instead of salmon! Make sure to select the vegetarian box for this option.

 Hello winter sports fans! 

Did you miss skiing, or would you like to go again? We want to organize an indoor ski activity at the beginning of February, and people of all skill levels are welcome to join. The plan is to go skiing at SnowWorld in Landgraaf, Limburg. We will ski for four hours, and including travel, the activity will take up most of the day. 

Please note that the costs for entry, travel, and equipment rental will be paid individually. Skiing and traveling can be expensive, so we want to be transparent about the expected costs. Based on our current estimates, the total price will be between €75.60 and €134.65. The lower estimate applies if you travel during off-peak weekend hours using weekend student transit, make use of an early reservation discount, and rent skis and boots. The higher estimate applies if you travel without discounts, buy tickets at the counter, and rent skis, boots, and a ski suit.
