Photo contest week 4 'Electricity in daily life'

Please read the description, since this week is different from the others!

This week is a collaboration with our department, and there will be prizes of €100,-, €70,- and €50,- for the best 3 submissions. However, to be eligible for these prizes, you will have to make the NSE survey for which you received a link by email (you can get a new link by going to: National Student Survey (NSE) - Studiekeuze123). To see whether you completed it, we would like you to send your personal link along with your submission. We won’t be able to see your answers, your personal info or to change anything, it is just to check whether you completed it or not. If you are not an Electrical Engineering or Automotive Technology student anymore, you cannot compete for the monetary prizes, but you will still be able to win the cool 3d printed Thor prize, so you can absolutely still submit a picture!

The topic of this week has everything to do with electrical engineering and is ‘Electricity in daily life’. You could think about street lanterns or a nice picture of your phone on the charger, but a cool photo of the high-voltage pylons you see every day could also be a good idea. As usual, you have to send in your best photo to photocontest@thor.edu before Sunday March 7, 23:59. To get some inspiration, you can look at the examples below, and during the week, some early submissions will be shared anonymously in the group chat which you can still join using this invite link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IBjnjHeMOMCGC91pHJCiwS

The winners won’t be determined in the usual way, because we think voting will not be the most fair determination process in this case. Instead, we will send your photos without accompanying names to a jury, which will determine the best three submissions.

You can also vote for the past week themed 'frog's perspective' using the webform below this photo album.
