ASML Lunch Lecture

Curious about life as a DevOps Engineer at ASML? What are the technical problems that running an organization off this scale is facing day in day out ?

Martyn van Dijke is a Developer and Operations (DevOps) Engineer in the Functional Cluster Developer Environment in the Information Technology sector at ASML. At this department we provide the actual software engineers with a virtual environment where they can make, build and test their code. As a DevOps Engineer it’s our responsibility to ever improve this environment and make sure its always operational!

Martyn, will share his personal story and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it's really like. He’ll walk you through a real-life optimization problem: ensuring there’s enough storage to host all the code. Optimizing size, user impact and costs all into a single equation and then moving towards the best solution. Martyn van Dijke | LinkedIn studied Electrical Engineering at TU/e but transitioned into a more IT-focused role. Today, he’s responsible for providing ASML’s software developers with the virtual environments they need to do their work.
