Waldur

Draaistroomdispuut Waldur is a student branch of e.t.s.v. Thor from the Electrical Engineering faculty of the Technical University of Eindhoven. DSD Waldur focuses on students who are interested in the areas of Electric Energy Systems, Electro-mechanics, Power Electronics and/or Automotive. 
By organizing excursions, lunch lectures, study trips, member days/drinks, symposia and other networking events we give students interested in those fields the opportunity to get in contact we each other and the related companies.

Constitution Drink of DSD Waldur

On Friday the 6th of June 2025, the new board of DSD Waldur will host its constitution drink. We we want to invite to our drink that will be held in the Het Walhalla. Feel free to congratulate the new Board with a gift and your favorite shot (which is Citroen Brandewijn  of course). We hope to see you there! P.S. consumption are free

Waldur benefactors day also open for students

We are proud to announce that this year, Waldur will have a benefactors day. During this day breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. This whole day is free students We are really happy that we can come by TKF and Eaton. The general planning of the day is as follows:
7:00 – Departure by bus  from Flux – TU/e
8:15-8:30 – Stop at Arnhem Central for visitors from the north and west to board the bus.
9:45 – Arrival at TKF
10:00 – 14:00 – TKF program
15:00-19:00 – Visit Eaton
20:15-20:30 – Drop off at Arnhem Central
21:45 – Arrival at Flux – TU/e
We need to know the following information:
  1. Do you have safety shoes? if so bring them, if not what is your foot size
  2. Are you going to join the bus?
    1. Yes in eindhoven
    2. yes in arnhem
    3. no i come with my own transport
  3. Are you a student? yes/no
