The first blog of the academic year

Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Dear reader,

Due to a lack of time and the total chaos in the first two weeks of being executive Board, it totally slipped our mind to write a blog. For this, I would like to express my sincere apology on behalf of my candidate Board. But dear reader, let's not dwell on the mistakes from the past. While all the chaos happened, time went by and now it is the third week of the academic year. This means that as candidate Treasurer I have the honor to be the first person to write a Board blog in this academic year. When I heard this I was of course exhilarated as you, dear reader, would understand. But once the time came to actually write this beautiful blog I ran into a problem. You may have guessed it, dear reader. I had nothing to talk about. NOTHING. Can you believe it. I have been so busy these past two weeks, and I still could not think of anything to tell you, dear readers, about. Of course I could talk about the weekly accounting and budgets, but I don’t want to bore you. I could not run the risk that there again wouldn’t be a blog to put on the website. I also could not get myself to miss this chance to become be the first to write a Board blog this year. So I forced myself to sit down and start writing. But in the meantime of writing this blog, I have come to the end of my rope. So, dear reader, I hope I have entertained you with this blog.

Yours faithfully,

The writer of the first blog of the academic year 2020-2021,

candidate Treasurer,

Lars Reijnders

Ps. I have dyslexia and have asked Mr. D.M. Blom if he would be so kind to check my blog. I would therefore like to ask you to discuss your questions and/or complaints about spelling, sentence structure, punctuation, spacing, capitalization, etc. with Mr. D.M. Blom. He would of course also be open to a discussion on these topics.
