[Thor] Career Day

Always wanted to know more about career possibilities? Come have a look at the Career Day and get to know interesting companies! This event is a special career event for Electrical Engineering and Automotive students only. It will take place on Thursday the 14th of February, on the first floor of Flux.

You can drop by whenever you want during the entire day! There will be free lunch for the lunch break.

  • HyTEPS is a company that helps organisations to optimize the energy efficiency, reliability and safety of their electrical installation through their knowledge, services and technologically innovative products. HyTEPS achieves this trough measuring and influencing the power quality factor of an installation.
  • Schneider Electric is in the leader in Power Management – Medium Voltage, Low Voltage and Secure Power, and in Automation Systems. Schneider’s focus is on automation of systems ranging from large corporate buildings to homes or even data centres.
  • Rijkswaterstaat is a part of the Dutch government and focuses on maintaining and innovating the roads of the Netherlands. This includes innovating both the waterways of the Netherlands and the asphalted roads.
  • Denso is the leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for all the world's major car brands. It has many manufacture sites around the globe and produces a lot of automotive components for large companies such as BMW or Audi.
  • Ampleon is spin-off company from NXP and focuses on RF power chips. By the ever increasing demand of wireless chips Ampleon is set to exploit the full potential of data and energy transfer in RF.
  • IHC is a reliable supplier of innovative and efficient equipment for the vessels market. They provide services for the offshore, dredging and wet mining markets.
  • Engie is the Dutch producer of green energy. Engie focuses on generating energy with as little effects on the nature as possible. This means that Engie tries to produce energy with a minimal emission of greenhouse gases.
  • Alliander is a company that connects Dutch homes to the electricity and gas grid of the Netherlands. They are always busy innovating new products or services to better maintain or expand the energy network of the Netherlands.
